- By submitting materials to The Hydrotechnika, the author accepts the ethics of peer review, which is followed by the editors and participants in the publication process.
- The author can attach previous comments and peer reviews to the article, which does not replace the peer review organized by the editors.
- The editors send copies of reviews to the author and, if they contain comments, discuss with the author the terms for finalizing the article. If the author does not agree with the comments of the reviewers, he/she can make the necessary clarifications in the text and send a written justification of his position to the editorial office – in this case, the editors can organize an additional review, and the issue of publishing the article is submitted for discussion by the editorial board.
- After the comments of the reviewer are eliminated, the materials for publication are again transferred to the reviewer, who informs the editors in writing of his decision to publish or not to publish the materials.
- In case of a negative opinion of the reviewers or, in case of controversial issues, refusal to publish by decision of the editorial board, the editors send the author a substantiated written refusal to publish.
- Reviews are kept in the editorial office for 5 years.
- The Editorial Board of the journal will provide in a mandatory manner copies of reviews to the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation upon receipt of a corresponding request.
