Thermal influence of surface and ground water on the temperature regime of soils of ground structures in the permafrost zone

Abstract. The article presents some results of the analysis of the thermal impact of surface and ground waters on the soils of the body and foundations of earthworks; identifies the main types and characteristic features of the impact of water on the soil mass. The study is aimed at improving the level of methods for protecting territories with the spread of permafrost by taking into account the thermal effect of ground and surface waters.
